Relax App Reviews

This is a good start to a great idea. The sounds available are really nice, but are limited to 2 sounds during each time period, except for nature sounds. It would be great if you could schedule a certain play time rather than playing the relaxation sounds only once or on a continual repeat. For example - you may want it to repeat for 10 or 15 minutes rather than the one time length of the melody or go on forever. And, although this is a new Mac App and its still morning here, it looks like the island picture image stays the same regardless of the time of day or night. It would be nice if it would change as the time of day progresses. Still, Im glad I got it. Its simple, but does what it says it will do - very relaxing.

I already have this App on my iPhone for a long time and love it!!!!! If I have a rough time on the computer or had a hard day and want to wind down - the Nature Sounds are the perfect way to do it. I am going to sleep and are waking up with it - my husband is getting jealous .-)) They also update the music pretty often - good work!

Beware this is little more than an "album" of weird, insipid New Age. Categorizing tracks on a poorly designed player does not cut-it as an application. Lets not allow the new App Store to become cluttered with this tier of marketing fluff and unethical merchandising...Please.

This is lovely. Ive been looking for nice music for my yoga sadhana. Perfect for a relaxing session and wonderful for final savasana. Im so glad I purchased. The music and nature sounds are wonderful. It does lack some programability, but its not that hard to just click on another sound to start.

By looking at the photo above one would think you are going to see the images above. You wont. It is a photo with words written all over it! Who wants to look at that and relax? Its not relaxing. And I purchased the Mac version thinking I would be able to see the island image(s)s full screen. No! You cannot size the single window image it gives you. Very disappointing. PLEASE, if you are sincere about relaxation, make the image without writing on it, offer as many images and functionality as the iPhone app, and offer the ability to see the image FULL SCREEN. Otherwise this is just an app with pretty music that doesnt offer much else. Hoping for a very big update on this one. Otherwise it will be deleted. Mac version completely missed the boat.

This app isnt worth the 99 cents you pay. youre be better off using the white noise app that is available for free.

In fact, I think Ill listen to it now... relaxing. I guess it just fits my "zen". Try Welcome Melody.

Honestly, this was one of the first apps I bought. I love the music. Its great when I want to de-stress during the day and before bed. I like the different types of music for different times during the day. I recommend this app. Its simple to use and does what i says it will do.
